Wedding Photography at Bolton School is always a pleasure for us. Such a unique venue for a wedding. “it’s just like Hogwarts” is a very common phrase you hear when walking around the beautiful grounds.
This was the chosen venue for Kara & Dan’s wedding. We met them at their lovely home in Bolton, Lancashire to discuss their wedding plans. We knew from the start that these two were going to be a great couple to know.
I met Dan at a local bar In Bolton on the morning in Bolton (yep, we start early in these parts) before making my way to Kara at her home where she was getting ready.
A very cool camper van drove Kara to Bolton School for a lovely ceremony in the great hall. After a few group shots everybody made their way to the art gallery for drinks.
A walk around the grounds..
As the sun was shining bright throughout the day, I suggested going for a walk around Bolton School as the sun had started to set. The light is so much more beautiful for photographs at this time and after a few drinks both Kara and Dan felt really relaxed. We had a great laugh walking around the school. As the sun set, the evening celebrations really kicked off with some amazing singing by Busker Ella.
