The Holford Estate Wedding Photography

I am really excited to share The Holford Estate Wedding Photography blog with you! The Holford Estate is a stunning wedding venue in the heart of Cheshire. With its beautiful gardens and fields and a restored 18th century Barn, it really is the perfect backdrop for a dream wedding.

The Holford Estate is home to some really impressive horses who love to have their photos taken with the bride and groom. With its farm, rolling fields, and gardens, The Holford Estate has an endless backdrop for beautiful wedding photographs.

They have an incredible team that makes sure your day runs perfectly like clockwork. The Holford Estate is definitely one of my favourite venues to photograph weddings.

Church Wedding In Grappenhall

Fran & Ben booked me back in 2019 for their wedding which was supposed to be in July 2020, but we all know what happened there! Fast forward to August 2021 and the day finally arrived! No restrictions, no limited numbers, a full-blown wedding with all the trimmings!

After getting to know Fran & Ben for over two years via messages and emails I just knew that their day was going to be something really special and I could not wait to meet them in person.

I met Fran on the morning of her wedding at The Mill on The Holford Estate with my good friends RTP Films who were doing video on the day.

The ceremony took place at St Wilfrid’s Church In Grappenahll Village in Warrington. After a beautiful ceremony and a showering of confetti and congratulations, it was time to make our way to The Holford Estate for a celebration Fran & Ben had been waiting so long for.

Drinks & Music at The Holford Estate

We arrived at the stunning Holford Estate as Fran & Ben made their way through even more confetti thrown over them by guests. (They had endless amounts of the stuff)

Guests were entertained by some great music from the Kick Back Sundays and canapes in the gardens as we sneaked Fran & Ben away for some natural portraits together.

Hilarious Speeches In The Terrace

After some delicious food, it was time for the speeches. Traditionally, the father of the bride took the microphone first followed by Ben and then his two best men who had Ben burying his face in his hands throughout. Always a good sign of a great best man speech.

Lawn Games & Cricket

The sun was shining and it was turning into a lovely summer evening at The Holford Estate.

The lads decided to have a game of cricket which was highly amusing. Ben was trying his best for me to have a bat myself and as tempted as I was for having a go, I think it would have been criminal not to document all the fun instead. (next time Ben) Swingball, croquet and other lawn games were also on offer which got everybody into great spirits for the evening party.

Party Time At The Holford Estate

Party time! The time we had all been waiting over a year for. No banned dance floors, no 2 metre rule, just brilliant music and celebrating with family and friends. Fran & Ben kicked it off with an amazing first dance and were soon joined by everyone that packed the dance floor and partied the night away to the sounds of Lucie M (no relation) and Dom K DJ.

A wonderful day with an absolutely amazing couple who I now regard as friends. Thank you so much Fran & Ben for sticking with me throughout all the madness, it means the world!
