Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photography with Louise & Keiran. Oh what a wedding it was. So many emotions throughout, tears, laughter and a fantastic celebration of of two people who have been childhood sweethearts since school.

I had been chatting to Louise for quite some time over email and we arranged to finally meet up a couple of weeks before their big day. When we started chatting we realised that we all had loads in common. We live in the same town, we know quite a few of the same people and Louise and Keiran met at the school I attended many moons ago. Well maybe not that long ago.

Louise was getting ready at The Whites Hotel with her bridesmaids, her Mum, her Dad and another 245 people that filled the room with lots of energy and excitement. The look on her Mum and Dads face when they first saw their daughter looking absolutely stunning in her dress was just wonderful to see.

We made our way to Rivington Hall Barn where Keiran was waiting for his bride to be. Before the ceremony they showed how Keiran had proposed to Louise on a big projector screen at the front of the room. To say this was emotional was an understatement, it had everyone nudging tears.

After the ceremony we had a little walk around the grounds and photographed the guests who were getting ready to be seated for the speeches. After some very funny and emotinal speeches we went for another walk with the newly weds as the sun began to set.

A father and daughter dance followed by the first dance of Louise and Keiran as man and wife. A huge explosion from the confetti cannon showered them both and on cue got the dance floor filled with wedding guests to party hard into the night.

What a wonderful venue for a wedding this is for a wedding. Set in the Beautiful Lancashire countryside, and my hometown Bolton, the photo opportunities are endless. It’s a Grade II listed building that is family run and has so much character. Definitely one of my favourite venues in the North West to shoot weddings.
