Rivington Hall Barn Wedding | Gill & Chris.

There is nothing like a Rivington Hall Barn Wedding in the Lancashire countryside.  Beautiful surroundings for miles and miles. And in true Lancashire style.. it rained, it rained and rained. Ahh well, that was never going to spoil Gill and Chris’s beautiful wedding.

We photographed Gill and Chris’s pre-wedding shoot not too far away from Rivington.

On the wedding day, we met Gill at her mothers house, camera at the ready as she opened the door. Such a relaxed, calm atmosphere, Gill was having her makeup done in the conservatory. You could actually see the church from the house.

We also visited Chris and the lads at their home in Horwich, all looking very dapper in their suits.

After a beautiful church ceremony we all made our way to Rivington Hall Barn for the wedding celebrations. It really looked like we was never going to get a break from the downpour, and then it happened, a break in the cloud give us the opportunity to get some shots of the newly weds together outside.

Having known Chris for quite some time I knew his wedding was going to be very special. They make such a perfect couple together and we are so happy for them both. It was an honour to be asked to capture their special day.

Rivington Hall Barn Wedding

The Barn is such a perfect venue for a wedding. An historic Grade ll listed building believed to date back to the 12th century. It still retains original features including its huge Saxon beams. In the West Pennine moors there are endless photo opportunities. We cant wait to capture another wedding there again soon.
