Nunsmere Hall Wedding

A beautiful Nunsmere Hall Wedding for Natalie & Oliver with plenty of sunshine, and just a couple of unexpected showers! The sun was definitely shining on this beautiful summer morning when I arrived at Nunsmere Hall. I made my way up to Natalie where she was getting ready with her Mum and bridesmaids. I got some lovely photos of Natalie by the window as she was having her makeup applied. Oliver arrived at Nunsmere Hall and started getting ready in a different part of the hotel and I think the nerves were slightly kicking in at this point. He looked very dapper in his black tie attire as did his best man and groomsmen.

Back in the bridal suite with Natalie in time for her to get into her wedding dress. The time had come to come to walk down the aisle with her proud dad.

Outdoor Ceremony At Nunsmere Hall (nearly)

Natalie and Oliver were to have an outdoor ceremony, but by this point, the clouds above did start to look a bit sketchy. Everyone made their way to the seats that were arranged in the gardens for a Nunsmere Hall wedding. Oliver stood and waited patiently for his bride-to-be but also nervously looking up at the clouds. And then the dreaded shout from the seated guests, “It’s spittin!” Everyone ran under the trees for cover, and as quick as the rain came, it disappeared again and the sun broke through the clouds. Phew!

Oliver decided the show must go on outside and he was soon joined by Natalie at the front of the aisle. But just as they started their vows the heavens opened and it started pouring down! “Everyone inside!” Handbags covered heads as everyone made a dash to the main ceremony room at Nunsmere Hall.

Natalie & Oliver made their way back up the indoor aisle in the Crystal Suite to finish their vows and finally tie the knot! I honestly think after all the chaos of running out of the rain and gathering standing up inside made for some great photographs and definitely a break from the norm. I love unique moments like this and it’s something they can always look back on with smiles.

Natalie and Oliver did it! They were finally husband and wife and made their way back up the aisle together to rapturous applause and cheering from their guests.

Beside The Lake At Nunsmere Hall

After an epic confetti shot on the main staircase of Nunsmere Hall and a few group photos, we managed to sneak the newlyweds away for 10 minutes for some photos of them both together. We walked down to the lake at Nunsmere Hall which is a lovely backdrop for photographs. We also got a few photos outside the front of the Nunsmere Hall.

Singing And All Dancing Waiters

The sun was out again and no sign of rain so everyone enjoyed drinks and canapes on the terrace and gardens. Food and speeches were to take place in the new marquee at Nunsmere Hall. Three great speeches from the bride’s dad, Oliver, and his best man followed by some delicious food

When the waiters burst into song you knew this was the start of the party! Everyone was on their feet, standing on tables, singing and waving napkins. The two singing waiters really got everyone in great spirits with their energy packed performance!

Evening Dress And Party

Natalie disappeared for a while and then made a grand entrance in her evening wedding dress to a great reaction from the guests. I had a dream that I ruined this surprise and I accidentally mentioned it in front of Oli, but it was all a dream wasn’t it Natalie, It never happened! :D

Everyone gathered back in the marquee which had been turned around for the evening reception. After the traditional cake cut, the band invited Natalie and Oliver to the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. The tempo of the music was raised and everyone joined them to party the night away.
