Christening in Bolton with little Leo…
Another Christening for me, proving to be quite popular for me now. I have not blogged for a while now so this is a good way to get back into the blogging game.
Leo was to be Christened at St Ethelberts church in Bolton, Lancashire and then onto The Victoria inn for the reception, locally known as Fanny’s!
We met Dave and Laura at their family home in Lostock where they live with their son and daughter Leo & Sienna. Leo actually looks like a male version of our daughter Layla, the same curly hair :D
They had a great ceremony at the church and i had the freedom from the priest to get as many images as i liked which is always nice.
It was also nice to see so many familiar faces, a few old school friends and people i have known growing up around Bolton. I think most of them were shocked to find that Ally from Great Lever Bolton had become a wedding photographer, i cant believe it myself sometimes.
They had a great do at Fanny’s with lots of good food and the drinks were flowing nicely. I think that was the best ham i have ever eaten, delicious! It was on a Saturday too which went down well with everybody im sure, no drinking on a school night.
Sienna was trying to avoid getting on any of my photographs all day but i did manage to get some of her and i think she actually liked it in the end.
Great day with a great family, cant wait to shoot their wedding in December :D
Fantastic as always ❤️
Brill pics x
Brilliant pics….love how you catch the moment rather than the pose
Awesome job, love your approach to it, you can see how much you enjoyed taking the pictures and you’ve told a story that will last forever and ever amen :-)
Lovely set of photographs, they much be chuffed to bits with these!
Hello,
I just wondered how much you charged for photography services please? My son is 10 years old and being baptised on Saturday 22nd April at Holy Trinity Church, Horwich but I can’t find a photographer that won’t charge an astronomical price which I just can’t afford right now. This is a massive event in my son’s life as he has come to religion himself despite all the traumas life has already dealt him (I’ve nearly died on more than one occasion and we had to escape a life of abuse) so this marks the beginning of a new era.
Really hoping you can help me but I will understand if not.
Many thanks and kindest regards,
Zoe Stephens.
