Hello, I’m Ally, I am an award winning wedding photographer based in Manchester, I also cover Lancashire, the North West, the Uk and anywhere on the planet really. My photography style is mainly documentary, which means I like to capture your wedding in a totally natural way. I work as unobtrusively as possible, blending in the background and creatively capturing those moments as they unfold throughout the day. Real smiles, Real laughter, Real emotion! I am ranked one of the top ten wedding photographers in the U.K and Ireland, something I am really proud to have achieved.
I tend not to follow any photography trends that come and go. I want your images to be timeless, so in years to come, when you and your family are looking through your wedding photos, those images will still look as special then as they do today. I approach weddings in a different way than a traditional style of wedding photography. I love to look out for those quirky moments, those random fun moments that make a wedding unique.
Lancashire Wedding Photography
I feel very lucky to be a wedding photographer based in Lancashire. I get to work in some great venues and also as a location photographer we have some stunning scenery in Lancashire were I like to take couples and families for portrait sessions.
Lancashire has amazing landscapes, stunning moors and breathtaking coastal scenery that makes a perfect backdrop for weddings and photography to match.
A favourite place I like to go with couples and families alike is Rivington on the west Pennine moors on the outskirts of Horwich and Bolton. With its Beautiful reservoirs and Victorian gothic architecture surrounded by woodland. Check here to a recent Pre wedding shoot I did up Rivington.

Mitton Hall in Mitton Lancashire.
A country house in the beautiful Ribble valley perfect for small intimate weddings in the oak panelled rooms and for larger weddings aptly named the Party Room. I love photographing weddings here, it has such character.
Stanley House in Mellor Lancashire.
A 17th Century Manor Stanley house is one of the UK’s premier wedding venues. Surrounded by stunning landscape, Wedding photography here is a real joy.
Rivington Hall Barn set in the beautiful Lancashire countryside. So many amazing photo opportunities.
Eaves Hall in the Ribble Valley Lancashire. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland, and set amidst the spectacular countryside, Eaves Hall has a picture perfect setting for any wedding photographer.
Beeston Manor in Preston Lancashire is a great venue for weddings and wedding photography. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and overlooking Beeston wood.
