Gemma & Joe had a beautiful intimate wedding at the Cock O’Barton last June. The sun was shining on what would be a perfect day.
Bridal Prep At Rowton Hall
I made my way to meet Gamma at Rowton Hall hotel where she was getting ready with her family. She was just having the finishing touches done by the MUA when I arrived. Her dad arrived just in time for champagne which they popped the cork outside on their own private patio. Gamma’s sister and bridesmaid Shelley helped her into her stunning Dorothy Rose wedding dress. The look on her proud Dad’s face when he saw Gemma wearing her wedding dress said it all. Time to get this show on the road.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony At The Cock O’Barton
I made my way to meet Joe at Cock O’Barton where he was greeting guests as they arrived at the venue. Lots of lovely details were dotted around the terrace which all had a lovely personal touch.
Everybody made their way inside and awaited the arrival of the bride. Gemma and Joe had a lovely ceremony with lots of laughs and smiles throughout.
They made their way back up the aisle as husband and wife to a huge round of applause from the guests. We made our way back onto the terrace where the newlyweds were showered with confetti.
A Relaxed Walk Around The Grounds
After a few group shots, I stole Gemma & Joe away from the guests for 20 minutes for some natural photos of them both together. The Cock O’Barton has some absolutely stunning views of the Cheshire Countryside. This made the perfect backdrop for a few natural portraits of Gemma and Joe together.
Speeches In The Marquee
After a few more drinks on the terrace and then it was time to make our way to the marquee for some beautiful food and speeches.
Gemma’s Dad got the ball rolling with a lovely speech. Joe had a few tears rolling with his speech, especially when talking about his Mum. The speeches were finished off brilliantly with a few words from Joe’s Grandfather and his sister Megan.
First Dance And Party
As the sun began to set on what was a gorgeous summer’s day it was time to get this party started. the evening guests had started to arrive, and the band had set up, so it was now time for Gemma & Joe to take centre stage for their first dance. And what a power ballad they chose to dance to and sing to each other. Bon Jovi – Always blasted out as the guests gathered around the married couple. Wedding band The Rock n Roll Kings soon had everybody joining them on the dance floor to twist the night away.
I had such an amazing day with Gemma & Joe and all their guests. A truly beautiful summer wedding.
