When we met up with Deb & Ben and they told us their plans of a Castlefield Rooms Wedding we were thrilled. They planned to have a small gathering of close family at the Panacea after tying the knot at the Manchester registry office. Castlefield Rooms was the venue for the huge party afterwards.
Deb and Ben love Manchester just as much as we do, and when they told us their plans we knew this wedding was going to be right up our street.
We love The Castlefield area of Manchester, with its cobbled streets, canals and bridges, there are so many great opportunities for photographs (and drinks) :)
We met them both in the morning at the Radisson Blu hotel in the city centre, before making our way to the registry office. After the lovely intimate ceremony we walked down the city streets of Manchester. Everybody we passed were so nice, congratulating the newly weds as we passed.
At the Panacea they had a meal and some very tearful speeches by Ben, the father of the bride and the best man. I think everyone of us in that room shed a tear during them speeches.
So then it was off to Castlefield rooms for the party. And what a party it was! The band they hired “The Case” just blew the roof off the place.
Deb & Ben are such a great couple who really know how to have a good time. It was a privilege to capture their Manchester story for them.
I hope their heads weren’t too sore in the morning.
On behalf of me and my wife Deborah Jane we would like to thank Ally and Lucy for capturing our special day and going above and beyond the call of duty throughout the day. They were truly professional and most of all the were very personal. We had a fabulous day, one that we will never forget. We absolutely love our photos! Thanks again guys and hope to catchup soon for a drink!
