Ally M Photography Best Of 2023
Well, another brilliant year of weddings, 2023 was just incredible!
As always, I like to reflect on my previous year by going through the hundreds of images I have supplied for my couples. It really is a difficult task and I would most certainly have a completely different set if I had to do it again. There are just so many great moments to choose from, and I can’t thank everyone from the couples to their guests for giving me so much to capture.
Top 10 Photographer In The World!
Even typing these words “Top 10 in the world” blows my mind. In 2022 very nervously I thought I would get my work more out there and entered a couple of the best wedding photography awards that there are.
Fearless awards are notoriously hard to win, so bagging a couple of these was a great achievement. But the one awards that resonates with me the most is This Is Reportage! It’s everything that is documentary wedding photography, everything that my ethos is about, real moments! The quality of work that gets submitted in This Is Reportage is insane! I thought I would throw my hat in the ring and give it a go. So to win 9 awards throughout the year and be ranked in the top 10 photographers in the world is just bonkers! My proudest personal achievement in my career so far, no doubt!
