Italian Wedding
The Bellavista Wedding of Kirsty and Matteo was some party. I got chatting to Kirsty and Matteo a few months prior to the big day to discuss everything wedding. Matteo is Italian, so to have their wedding at the Bellavista Italian Ristorante was the perfect setting for their special day.
Matteo had all his family and friends from Italy flying out for the wedding. They told me to expect lots of music and one epic party. I couldn’t wait!
When the day finally arrived, I met Kirsty at her parents home where she was getting ready along with her sister who would also be her bridesmaid. I met Matteo and all their guests at the venue. The room where Kirsty and Matteo were to tie the knot looked just lovely. Kirsty looked stunning as she walked down the aisle to meet a tearful Matteo at the front of the room.
After the ceremony we got a few family group shots before walking around the beautiful gardens of Bellabvista to get some natural photos of the newly weds together.
What A Party!
Kirsty and Matteo got a huge round of applause as they entered the room and sat down for some exquisite Italian food.
The speeches were absolutely brilliant! Kirty’s father had actually practiced his speech in Italian for Matteo’s family. Their faces just lit up when he started talking in Italian with a North West England accent. I’d say that the waving of the table cloths were a good sign that he nailed his speech.
Matteo give his speech in English whilst Kirsty give her speech in what sounded like perfect fluent Italian. This really set everything up for the evening celebrations.
Live music by Musique was a really nice touch and the dance floor was soon packed with lots of happy faces. The guests made a huge conga line that snaked around the restaurant.
The best part of the evening for me was the limbo that they set up on the middle of the dance floor. I think maybe they set the cloth a little too low for some. I’m guessing there would of been a few sore bums in the morning.
Oh my what a party is was though! Those Italians really know how to have a good time and Kirty’s side of the family didn’t hold back either. I think the photographs show what a fun wedding this was.
Bellavista Ristorante
Bellavista is a delicious Italian restaurant in the Milnrow area of Rochdale that specialises in weddings. It’s on the site of an 18th century barn and surrounded by the beautiful Lancashire countryside with views overlooking Pennines. It also has some gorgeous gardens that are a perfect backdrop for wedding photographs. And the food is just delicious. A really fantastic venue for a wedding.
