A beautiful Adlington Hall Wedding with Emma & Sam. Ive been chatting on Instagram with Emma for quite some time about her wedding, so I have seen the excitement build up over the year. I love the relaxed approach she wanted for her big day and she explained that she loved all those natural shots. A wedding right up my street!
Adlington Hall And Gardens
Adlington Hall is situated in the rural Cheshire countryside. It’s a beautiful country home with a 700 year history of a single family that own the venue, the Leghs.
Weddings at Adlington Hall are a treat. The Great hall where Emma & Sam had their ceremony is simply stunning! Honestly the light in that room is a photographers dream and just suits my photography style perfectly. It has a great variety of areas to enjoy your day. It’s surrounded by a beautiful English Rose garden and the historic walled Courtyard of Adlington Hall. The Hunting Lodge with its wooden beamed ceilings is where guests sit down to their wedding breakfast before partying the night away. Lisa and her team will always be on hand to make sure you have the best wedding day.
Wedding Day Adlington Hall
I met Emma at her home in Cheshire on the day of the wedding. There was a great buzz of excitement in the air as everyone got ready for the big day ahead. I also got time to go and visit the groom Sam who was getting ready just round the corner with his best man and ushers. Back to Emma just in time for her to get in her dress. Her Dad’s face just lit up as he walked into the room to see his girl stood looking beautiful in her wedding dress.
I made my way to Adlington Hall where Sam was greeting all the guests as they arrived. Emma arrived at the venue with her father in a very cool camper van. It was a beautiful ceremony in the Great Hall, such a stunning room.
The sun was shining and we got the opportunity to have a walk around the beautiful gardens for some lovely photographs of the newly weds together.
Evening Celebrations in The Hunting Lodge
We made our way to The Hunting Lodge through a shower of confetti. After everyone had enjoyed the wedding breakfast it was time for some great speeches from the father of the bride and of course the groom and best man. I always get a little giddy when I see the projector being brought forward for the speeches, you just know you are going to get a very interesting (and hilarious) history lesson about the groom. The best man did not disappoint!
After the speeches everyone made their way outside to the gardens and listen to some live music from the resident piano player.
Emma and Sam wanted everyone to join them for the first dance and this filled the dance floor nicely for the evening party.
Such a great day with a fantastic couple. I wish them both all the happiness in the world.
“We are so happy! The photos were so important to us and you’ve made us incredibly happy with them”
