I just loved meeting Charlotte and Chris to discuss their Eaves Hall Wedding. Being from my hometown I knew that these guys would be throwing a wedding party to remember, and Charlotte and Chris did not disappoint!
Wedding Day At Eaves Hall
Charlotte and Chris tied the knot on an autumnal day at Eaves Hall. I met Charlotte in The Lodge which is situated at the bottom of the gardens where she was having her make-up applied before we all made our way to The Kemple suite for final touches.
Chris and the lads were getting ready next door in the Pendle suit. If Chris was nervous, he definitely wasn’t showing it, cool as a cucumber!
With Charlotte and Chris getting ready so close to each other, it was easy going back and forth between them both and capturing all the excitement. One of the great things about working at Eaves Hall.
Charlotte looked amazing in her wedding dress and the look on her dad’s face spoke a thousand words when he saw her wearing her dress for the first time. Such a proud moment for a dad and is always a pleasure to photograph.
A Beautiful Ceremony
Wedding guests started to arrive at Eaves Hall and after a drink or two, made their way to the main room for the ceremony.
Chris was joined at the bottom of the aisle by his best man as he saw his bride-to-be with her face full of joy join him for a beautiful wedding ceremony. There were lots of laughs during the ceremony and we had a great reading from Chris’s dad that was received really well by everyone.
Eaves Hall Gardens
After the ceremony, the newly wed’s were congratulated by all their family and friends. We then made our way outside for a few formal photographs.
In true wedding tradition, Charlotte made her way up the big balcony to throw her wedding bouquet over her head towards all her friends, one of which did manage to pluck the flowers from the air and the many hands reaching up.
I stole Charlotte and Chris away from their guests for 20 minutes to have a walk around the stunning gardens of Eaves Hall and let them take everything in.
There was a lovely stillness in the air as we walked around and found some lovely backdrops for them both to take a minute and enjoy a moment together.
Food, Speeches and Mr & Mrs
The room had been turned around for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Chris Copper from DFC was the host for the wedding and started the party in style with the Ushers and Bridesmaids making an explosive entry into the room before being joined by the new Mr & Mrs Garrity to huge cheers.
The wedding host Chris gave a few cards out to guests to write something on about Charlotte and Chris before they got into a game of Mr and Mrs which always gets everybody ready for the party ahead. The guests were also treated to the amazing magic of Darren Robinson.
Fist Dance & Sax
Time for the party! Charlotte had a dance with her dad as people gathered around and she was soon joined by her husband Chris as they danced and sang to each other in the middle of the dance floor. The music got notched up as May (Girl On Sax) got everyone in the party mood as played her saxophone as everyone joined them to party the night away.
I love this part of a wedding! Everyone is relaxed and it’s an opportunity for me to get up really close and get some great photographs of the action.
